Celebrate British Food Fortnight With Cuts of Spectacular British Beef at Steak and Company
September 2022 - In celebration of British Food Fortnight (Tuesday 20th September – Tuesday 4th October), diners at London-based steakhouse,
Steak and Company
, will be able to enjoy cuts of spectacular British steak, carefully chosen from the finest selection of beef from across the globe.
British Food Fortnight encourages people to discover the delights of the diverse and delicious food produced in Great Britain promoting a strong ‘Buy British Food’ message and supporting local British farmers.
To mark British Food Fortnight, Steak and Company will be showcasing two British Speciality Steaks; a Casterbridge West Country PGI Fillet and a Surrey Farm British Côte de Boeuf. West country born and raised with a 70%+ grass and forage diet, the 21 day himalayan salt wall dry-aged Casterbridge West Country fillet steak is part of the Protected Geographical Indicator, an EU scheme protecting quality food in an area. The Surrey Farm British Côte De Boeuf 14 Oz is a 21-day aged local ribeye steak on the bone, which is also part of Prime steer and heifers cattle.
